I’m Prashant Joshi, the founder of OfficerBio. My interest in the Indian civil services began with my own UPSC journey. I have participated in the UPSC examination twice, which gave me firsthand experience of the preparation process, the examination structure, and the level of dedication required to pursue a career in civil services.
Today, I focus entirely on UPSC-related education and guidance. Through OfficerBio, I want to combine that experience with well-organized information about India’s civil services and the officers who serve the country.

As someone who has personally gone through the UPSC examination process and now teaches UPSC aspirants, I understand the importance of reliable information. We continuously work to improve the way information is researched, organized, and presented.
